Request a recipe!

I spend an inordinate amount of time deciding which recipes to share.

My biggest problem is that there are so many recipes I want to share, things that get me doing the jiggy because it’s so good but then before I dash off to film and photograph the recipe, I pause and think – will my readers get excited about this too?? Will they really go and try this?

It’s always interesting when I publish a new recipe to see how many people read it. After 4 years of blogging (that’s middle aged in Internet terms!), you’d think I’d be able to get it right 100% of the time.

And mostly, I can.

I knew you’d love the Sticky Honey Mustard Drumsticks and go bonkers over the Pad Thai and Tikka Masala. I didn’t expect you’d be clamouring for the Quiche Lorraine or Avocado Dip, and I guessed right. 🙂

But other times, you surprise me! I did not expect such an amazing response to the Homemade Pastrami from last Friday, nor that the Garlic Butter Kale Rice would become such a firm favourite!

Recent Reader Favourite Recipes - Tikka Masala, Pastrami, Pad Thai

And after all those hours of contemplating what recipes I think you want, it finally dawned on me: Why don’t I ask you??

DUH!

And so, here we are. Finally – because it took me so ridiculously to arrive at this point – FINALLY I’m asking you:

WHAT RECIPES DO YOU WANT ME TO SHARE?

Drop your requests in the comments section below!

Be as specific or as general as you want. I just ask 2 simple things:

  1. Please do a quick little Search to see if I’ve already shared it!

  2. No banana anything! It’s the only normal thing I can’t stand. Awful, smelly, slimy things that they are!?

{UPDATE: Scroll to the top for a list of requested recipes that I have published!}

I obviously can’t promise that I’ll share every recipe requested, being that I’m just one person who does need to sleep on occasion! But I’ll certainly share the most requested ones, and I’ll regularly pop back here when I’m planning my recipe calendar.

Hi Nagi! I love your recipes, they are always my go to for how a meal should be made.
I would like to make a request for beef goulash (the Czech version) with steamed dumplings (I think they are made out of flour & potato). I visited Prague years ago and I still remember how tasty this dish was. It is served in many pubs over there.

Hi Nagi! Have shaped your vanilla cake into all kinds of kids cake options but would love a rainbow cake recipe with truly bright colours!

If I was you Rachael I’d use the batter for the Vanilla portion out the batter and add food colouring and mux thru and bake induvudually for layers of colours or (untried) add back to main batter in layers so vanilla batter topped then scoop next colour etc and bake- it might give a layered ombre effect – or be a compkete fail😀or just make marble cake (that’s what we called it anyway and maybe what you mean) and you add food colourings drops and swirl through the batter with a knife/toothpick or skewer to get a marbled effect.

I would love it if you could make a chocolate cupcake recipe using a stand mixer. I loved your recipe without the stand mixer but always prefer the nice fluffy texture of one with a stand mixer. And if it could have chocolate chips inside of it too. I do have a recipe from another website but it is not the best recipe and it just is never perfect, but every recipe I do from you is always SO good. Thanks so much Nagi, I absolutely love your recipes (and also your dog)
Can’t wait to try out the chocolate cupcake recipe!

More Pork asian stir fry recipes please?
Pork shoulder is currently the cheapest cut of meat ($8 per kg this week at Woolies) but many of your recipes do not allow for pork. They mention replacing chicken with beef but never pork.
I’ve been doing research in replacing pork in the chicken cashew, chicken broccoli & mongolian lamb. I’m trying to figure out if I tenderise the pork with baking soda also. Considering pork shoulder is the cheapest it would be great to see it in more of the stir fry dishes.
Thank you for all the amazing recipes!

Hi Nagi, I would like to request a recipe for a Bengali fish curry, please. My co-worker from Bangladesh made it for me once and I’d love to be able to replicate it at home. I’m sure there’s many variations, but I recall this one had potato in it.
