More to come! Lots, lots, lots more…. – Nagi x
Request a recipe!
I spend an inordinate amount of time deciding which recipes to share.
My biggest problem is that there are so many recipes I want to share, things that get me doing the jiggy because it’s so good but then before I dash off to film and photograph the recipe, I pause and think – will my readers get excited about this too?? Will they really go and try this?
It’s always interesting when I publish a new recipe to see how many people read it. After 4 years of blogging (that’s middle aged in Internet terms!), you’d think I’d be able to get it right 100% of the time.
And mostly, I can.
I knew you’d love the Sticky Honey Mustard Drumsticks and go bonkers over the Pad Thai and Tikka Masala. I didn’t expect you’d be clamouring for the Quiche Lorraine or Avocado Dip, and I guessed right. 🙂
But other times, you surprise me! I did not expect such an amazing response to the Homemade Pastrami from last Friday, nor that the Garlic Butter Kale Rice would become such a firm favourite!
And after all those hours of contemplating what recipes I think you want, it finally dawned on me: Why don’t I ask you??
DUH!
And so, here we are. Finally – because it took me so ridiculously to arrive at this point – FINALLY I’m asking you:
WHAT RECIPES DO YOU WANT ME TO SHARE?
Drop your requests in the comments section below!
Be as specific or as general as you want. I just ask 2 simple things:
-
Please do a quick little Search to see if I’ve already shared it!
-
No banana anything! It’s the only normal thing I can’t stand. Awful, smelly, slimy things that they are!?
{UPDATE: Scroll to the top for a list of requested recipes that I have published!}
I obviously can’t promise that I’ll share every recipe requested, being that I’m just one person who does need to sleep on occasion! But I’ll certainly share the most requested ones, and I’ll regularly pop back here when I’m planning my recipe calendar.
LIFE OF DOZER
Hairdresser appointments are always extremely productive – I get my highlights and make recipe videos. Dozer gets his pats.
I would love you to make Snapoer Pie.
Originally served at The Boathouse at Blackwattke Bay restaurant (now closed)
It had a sauce soubise.
Those chefs went on to open Brasserie Bread.
It’s also served at Garfish restaurants.
I usually have it every Christmas Eve. We all order it ahead now, because sometimes they run out.
The BBWB restaurant is online, but could do with the Nagi touch, to decomplicate it.
It looks like your type of dish. Mostly do ahead.
love some recipes to take to Christmas Carols or summer picnics please
Hi Nagi
I would love a recipe for using up old bits of crackers (jatz, rice crackers, cream crackers) and other stuff (eg weetbix and bit of leftover cereal), in some kind of a choc chip cookie.
I tried one the other day (just a basic choc chip cookie dough, which I loaded with potato chips, pretzels, praline), they were pretty good…. but bet you could come up with an amazing one!
Thanks!
Hi Nagi and Dozer,
I would love a recipe for Crying Tiger – a Thai beef dish that I miss so much since we don’t have any Thai restaurants here in Tin Can Bay QLD.
A sticky ginger cake
Please can you do a video and recipe of Okonomiyaki. I know there’s one on your mums blog but it’s photos and not a video.
Hi Nagi! My mum is Dutch and makes gorgeous veal or beef croquettes but they take 3 days! Love to know if you’ve tried to make Dutch Kroketten.
Please can you reshape your panang chicken curry. It is my favourite curry and your recipe is the best.
I love all your recipes. Can you please share some scallop recipes I want to make them as an entree for Xmas day. I’m making also garlic prawns and a salmon terrine. Thank you
In Chiang Mai, Thailand they have a delicious noodle soup called Khao Soi. I’ve made a few from recipes online but your Asian recipes are always simple and spot on so would love for you to recreate.
Chinese style beef in black bean sauce please
Can we please have a Mexican rice recipe? 🙏
Hi Nagi.
Could you please try to make a copy of Pasta Pantries amazing Tuna Dip🙏
It is just die for.
Your recipes are amazing, & I think you will be the one person to make an amazing copy cat version of this amazing dip🥰
Hi Nagi!
Would love to see a beer bread recipe.
Thanks for all your inspiration and help!
Please would you show us a macaron tried and successful recipe.
Toad in the hole please
Dearest Nagi,
Many years ago I used to frequent a Sichuan / Szechwan / Szechuan (?) restaurant, and part of their ‘feast’ was a scrumptious dish called Bang Bang Chicken. It had a very light/delicate cucumber ‘pickle’ base, with poached chicken breast slices atop, and then some kind of very lightly spiced sesame sauce drizzled over the chicken, with peanut niblets over the whole thing.
Sadly the restaurant closed down before I had a chance to chat with the chef 🙁 I’ve hunted many foodie pages looking for a recipe that felt close to the one I’m seeking – alas, no joy….
Copious quantities of Gratitude to you & Dozer for brightening our days with all your fabulous recipes & updates…

BEEF BRACIOLE – Pasta – I’ve kept thinking for years now, what’s that dish my nonna made when I was in Italy, that was the best red sauce pasta I’ve ever had in my life, I know traditional it’s a small portion with pasta, then eat the broccoli meat, but boy oh boy what a killer sauce.
Would love recipes for mango pudding or sago desserts
Do you have any cheese ball recipes? If not, can you create some simple , but tasty ones?
