It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
I’m newly signed into your blog. I’m not a cook but want to change that and your approach ‘speaks’ to me. As to an idea, how about my nightmare…having my partner add 5 people to the house for a weeks visit! How do you feed them? I’m used to catering for just the 2 of us and extras make me break out into a sweat! I’m old enough to know better but there was always a history of drama around meals in my family growing up, rather than the wonderful time of sharing food together it can be, or so I’m told. Can you help?
Hi Nagi, thank you for your great recipes , I’m a big fan..
Would love a great recipe for Persian love cake and tips on how to cater for crowds of 10-20 people.
Love to see dairy free meal ideas for my son too.
Many thanks xx
Hi Nagi, I love what you do and have made many of your excellent recipes. I love your “feasts” and think this is also a great way to re-introduce some of your older recipes. It would be nice to see them highlighted again as so many are sooo good.
Soto Ayam and okonomiyaki 🤗
Using your website almost every week. Keep up the good work! ✌️
Hi Nagi,
I love your recipes just the way they are. They are perfect for busy families. They can be tweaked for healthier options if people want to but your strength is that your recipes are accessible to everyone. You use simple ingredients rather than “fancy” ones. This is the downfall of many other websites. Keep doing what you’re doing! I’d love a recipe for Lemon Delicious.
Hi Nagi, I would love to see more tofu dishes. I’m sure you have a recipe where tofu is the star? I have tried it so many times but never found a recipe I love. Thank you in advance
Ps… interested to know how you came up with the name recipetineat? 🙂
Hi Nagi, love your recipes. I would love to see some lower calorie healthy options which are just as tasty as your usual recipes.
Hi Nagi,I love your recipes with the videos too as my granddaughter like to see the videos when she is baking etc.
I already tweak most of your recipes to make them lower in fat and sugar, nearly all the suggestions above are great.
I am also looking for a pancake recipe where you beat the eggwhites to make them lighter and fluffier. i used to have a great recipe but lost it over the years. I find the japanese souffle version a little to eggy. Thanks again for all the fantastic recipes and great dozer entertainment.
I like easy recipes thar are quick or that cook while I’m at work and I just love what you have to offer always looking for new things to try thank you Nagi
Dear Nagi,
I found your web-site by accident, and what a fantastic find.
I live in Scotland, and want to thank you for making it easy to convert your recipes from cups to grammes……clever woman you are 😉😉
I love reading about Dozer, his antics make me smile 😊😊
I would like more quick & easy meals + freezer meals.
Thank you Nagi, your recipes have fed for months and we can’t get enough of Dozer!
All we can think of is maybe the odd Dozer biscuit or treat so that we don’t have to feel guilty for not sharing what we just cooked with our drooling dogs.
Love your Nasi Goreng recipe. So easy and tastes authentic. More tasty easy Malaysian recipes either with chicken or vegetarian( no beef or pork)
Love your website! Love love your recipes!! SO helpful are your comments on each recipe. I love to make dishes ahead of time and even freezing dishes when I have family in town to visit. So would like main courses that can be made ahead. Love the way you write as well and so very happy to find your site!

More healthy slow cooker recipes please! Thank you. xo
More delish pasta recipes please!
Absolutely love all of your recipes! I don’t eat meat so I often modify it for veggies and some of them have turned out great! Though, I would love to see more deserts, I love baking and your deserts are soooooooo yum!
I really enjoy trying out new recipes, so every time I need a break from all the chaos around me I open your website and pick out something and try to make it – it’s an adventurous world!
What do I want! I am NOT crazy but I am sure there are others out there who need to gain weight. That is what we need and I bet there are many out there like us that need to gain weight. So can you dedicate just a little space for those of us in this category. Also Nagi, I felt just like you re: bananas. Did you try Apple Bananas. DELICIOUS!
Throughly enjoy your newsletters and as for Dozer 💖 Always makes us smile 🤗
Hi Janet! Do not worry, I am not turning into a low calorie website!! Apple Bananas?? Curious… googling! N x
Thanks for all your hard work making 2020 bearable. Love your work and Dozer! I’m a totally unimaginative cook and your recipes have really improved my game. I really like when you provide extra info on how to change up a recipe. Is there any tasty way to use instant mashed potatoes or frozen shredded potatoes? (It’s winter her in Maryland) Do you recommend any brands of cookware?
I would like more recipes using the basics we have in our home…more veggie, dressings, dips, ways to chicken..(.I am allergic to seafood, nuts.) I would like butter chicken recipe, beef stew using root veggies, coleslaw recipe, burgers, casserole dishes like, sheppards pie (easy version), how to use phyllo.
I dont want to be rude, but Nagi has all these recipies that you mention on her website already!
Te he! I think you’re being helpful actually. And it’s right Kaylee! N xx
I thought of one more small thing that would be very helpful. In recipes that call for a Tablespoon of something, can you make the T uppercase, and when it’s a teaspoon, make the t lowercase? I’ve almost made a few mistakes because I thought tblsp was tsp! Love your recipes!!
I’d love to know on each recipe if it’s Australian tablespoon of 20mls or USA tablespoon of 15mls.
5mls isn’t much but for salty stir fry sauces etc it can be way too much! Thanks 🙂
