It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
Hi Nagi! I’ve been following you for a very long time and love what you do! I avoid Salmon because I always make it way to dry…so I’d like a failproof method of cooking this very healthy fish. I’m looking for more fish recipes and I don’t want to fry everything. Lastly I’m hoping for more veggie based recipes. And, I’m so tired of cooking…so how about some simple things.
Hi Nagi
What do I want this year? Well, to heck with healthy recipes – that’s just people’s guilt and New Year resolutions talking – no one will be interested by February 😉
How about some different/unusual ideas for cookie or biscuits or like little tea-time cakes. I have my usual repertoire of chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter cookies and ginger biscuits but would love to be stimulated by some out of the ordinary ideas and ingredients.
I am based in UK and have enjoyed your website and newsletters (and used many of your recipes) throughout last year and all its lockdowns and troubles.
Thanks and keep up the good work. And keep smiling.
Peter
Hi Nagi
Seasonal recipes with that Nagi twist that sets them up a notch
EG: Spotlight on a seasonal veg/fruit
Dozer diet
(For my Dog not me! LOL)
Second the focus on more seasonal produce! Especially with more of us attempting to veggie garden since lockdown.
Good morning Nagi, Thank you for all your work, fun, n help in the kitchen. Here’s the deal, I’M SICK OF MY COOKING!!! It all seems to taste the same. C-19 has caused us to stay home n eat from home. (Can we have a few tears here?) Please, more recipes with few ingredients, little prep n more hands off. Your quicky/emergency recipes are husband approved. I need more in MY recipe tin. Thank you, Nagi.
Salt n pepper squid plz..
Love your receipes
Hi Nagi, I would like a recipe for sweet and sour cantonese chicken.
I first discovered you in a magazine where you did Texas Chilli and several ways to use leftovers eg. Pasta bake, baked potatoes etc. I’d love more base recipes that I can make variations on! Batch cooking saves so much time with toddlers.
Hi Nagi,
I loveee your website!
I’d love more freezer friendly or advance prep meals that are healthy, fast to finalise at night :-).
Also, could I please request some healthy vegetable side dishes to some BBQ’d meat, lamb & chicken.
Looking forward to trying more of your recipes!
I’m with Tania…air fryer stuff…especially a way to use it to make Ginger Beef.
Hi Nagi,
Sorry to ask but could you please tell me where you bought Dozer’ red plastic teeth tubing from. Thanks Marilou
HI Nagi and dozer – love your work! Love that you have video, alternatives to ingredients and fail proof recipes – you are my go to cooking site! As for suggestions I am mostly a traditional appliance cook but now have found an air fryer works great for pork belly etc. so some air fryer recipe ideas or even better – air fryer tips for your recipes that would work in an air fryer would be great additional value for me. 👍😃
Please keep up the good work! No diet/health recipes please. Everyone is already doing that and it may make life a little longer but not more fun! Food should be connecting; especially in this Corona time. I would like more surprising recipes for a dinner party for 6-8 people that can be prepared in advance so you don’t feel like you are in the kitchen all night when having guests. And then maybe a menu suggestion (appetizer-main course-dessert), it’s sometimes pretty hard to find a good combination. A wine suggestion would also be nice (if you have an affinity for that). I would also like more dishes that are easy to take with you and easy to prepare at (or by) someone else. In this time of Corona, I often take my pots and pans to my family and I’m sure I’m not the only one… I wish you a happy and healthy 2021 with delicious food. As the Italians say: a tavola non si invecchia mai: at the table you never get old!
With warm greetings from cold Holland.
PS Many compliments for the detailed way of describing the recipes. I don’t know anyone else who does this as extensively and accurately as you do!
Hi Nagi – thank you for sharing all your wonderful recipes. I would love lunch box ideas, meat-free Mondays. I do love how you use similar ingredients/sauces/spices so you don’t have to buy a jar and only use it once so maybe a theme around that?
Hi Nagi thank you for all your wonderful recipes which I cook often, I would like to see more of those show off salads please
I am looking for a chocolate mousse triffle.
Kids lunch box ideas & recipes please. And I vote for air fryer recipes too.
Knowing a lot of those ideas & recipes elsewhere but I trust your ones. Everything is just right! Love your work, Nagi! Thankyou xx
Hi Nagi. I would love recipes that show me different ways of using an air fryer, other than fried chicken. Thank you.
Would you be able to post some Keto recipes and maybe keto bread?
Thank you for your brilliant website i have tried many of your recipes and they all turn out perfect. thank you
Nagi, your blog is wonderful but is missing just one thing (in my opinion 😛), a CALAMARI/SQUID recipe. Something a bit different but not too different and definitely blog worthy.
Your food is sooooooo good!! And basically the only recipes I cook these days 🤣. I’d love more healthy, low carb, salad and fish recipes if possible? 2021 year of health (and losing the covid 10(kg)). Thanks!!!
