Talk to me! Tell me what you want.

It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?

And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!

The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.

The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.

Thus, I turn to you to ask –

Tell me what you want for 2021!

Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:

  • More greens, less meat

  • More fish!

  • Work lunch ideas

  • More Dozer (🤞🏼!)

  • Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb

  • Freezer friendly recipes

  • Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)

  • Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort

I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.

So, talk to me!! – Nagi x

PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!

PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢

I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.

And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)

Life of Dozer

Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

Dozer jumping into pool

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰

I love your recipes so much – haven’t found one I didn’t like yet! I am trying to watch my weight, so tips on how to lighten up your existing recipes would be amazing.

Also, a lot of people are trying “no-meat Monday” – a weekly meat-free dinner idea would not only help us, but the planet too!!

I love your recipes and have not been disappointed with any that I have tried. I would like a recipe for Hunan Chicken. It is my most favorite Chinese dish and I have been unable to find a recipe that has ingredients I can find. Thanks

Hi! I love your webiste, I check it daily! We try to eat at least one meatless meal a week and I’m sensitive to gluten, not allergic though, so I try not to eat it with every meal. Any magical recipes for our family of 5?
Happy 2021 to you and Dozer!

Under categories it would be great if you had one that listed all of your dressings and sauces and marinades. Your site is great!

Love all your recipes.. but would love to see more Asian recipes like soups/broth and stir fries recipe. My mom just passed and unfortunately I never had the time to actually learn all her recipes. Your pho recipe has been the closest thing to her pho. And has been and will continue to make it for the family as it is the closest thing I have to my mothers. Thank you very much Nagi.

Hi Nagi, Thanks for asking! I’m not a vegetarian, but I would love to see more meatless dinner options (tofu, fish, shrimp, veggies, etc.) Thanks again!💕

You are among the best and for me, I use your recipe frequently because they are full of flavors. Thank you for that. Speaking of flavors, I would recommend exploring some Korean foods. Not the usual bbq meats, etc., but their vegetable side dishes and soups which can be easily converted to main dishes. They can be subtle, nutritious and yes, full of flavors from the sea, mountains and the fields. Just a suggestion 😉

I already commented, but forgot to add this! I’d love to see a Fondue category with easy main course ideas, like proteins cooked with broth or oil and sauces on the side. (like hot pot, etc)

I’d like to see more about preparing, sourcing and storing fresh fish like salmon, halibut, mackerel, tuna, sablefish, sardines, herring, anchovies, shad and trout, swordfish, yellowfin, cod, pollock, rockfish, shark, flounder, sole, grouper, red snapper, sea bass, haddock, whiting…etc. I am in landlocked middle US. Hi Nagi! I am a huge fan of your recipes and would love to continue to see more ethnic recipes that come together into a full meal or banquet. Would it also be possible to include some lower carb or keto options for certain recipes in your notes as you do for ingredient substitutions? Thanks so much!

I know you’re all about a real cooking experience but air fryer friendly recipes. I’ve begun to use it and love the ease and taste it gives . Also love all your recipes but need some more low cal recipes.

You Rock, girl! Thanks for all of your hard work in creating recipes for us. My wish list includes more Uniquely Australian recipes. The type that is only found in small towns or are unique to certin areas of the country. I am sure the West, South, and North coasts have some very different takes on East coast recipes, not to mention the Central outback. Cheers and here’s to hoping 2021 is a better year than 2020.

    The banana story😂😂
It will be difficult for you to improve on anything truthfully, but I suppose I could use some more light choices or recipe options. That would be nice. I also like the idea of occasional complete meal plans…. love everything about your IG and emails and all the hard work you and Dozer do!!
And also thank you for keeping politics out of it!! Soooo refreshing ‼️‼️
